Two Key Transformer Product Lines Presented by MBT
The two key product lines presented by MBT at Vietnam ETE & Greenergy Expo 2026 were epoxy cast resin dry-type transformers and oil-immersed transformers. Each product line has distinct characteristics and should be selected based on the installation environment, safety requirements, load requirements, and operating conditions of the project.
MBT Epoxy Cast Resin Dry-Type Transformers
MBT dry-type transformers do not use insulating oil and employ vacuum casting technology to encapsulate the windings in epoxy resin. They are suitable for projects with stringent requirements for safety, environmental conditions, and installation.
These transformers are suitable for high-rise buildings, shopping centers, hospitals, data centers, factories, urban infrastructure, and locations where risks associated with insulating oil need to be minimized.
At the event, the MBT team also shared information about the certification of MBT cast resin dry-type transformers to the C4–E4–F1 classification in accordance with IEC 60076-11. These classifications indicate compliance with climatic, environmental, and fire-behavior requirements under different operating conditions.
Customers can learn more about the construction, operating principles, and standards of cast resin dry-type transformers to assess their suitability for different types of projects.

MBT Oil-Immersed Transformers
MBT oil-immersed transformers use insulating oil to provide insulation and cooling during operation. They are widely applied in power distribution systems, substations, factories, industrial parks, infrastructure facilities, and energy projects.
Depending on project requirements, oil-immersed transformers can be designed with appropriate rated power, voltage ratings, vector groups, loss levels, and accessory systems. Selecting the correct configuration not only enables the equipment to meet load requirements but also contributes to maintaining stable power system operation.
By examining the product displayed at the booth, customers and partners gained a clearer understanding of the operating characteristics, cooling performance, and design flexibility of oil-immersed transformers for specific project conditions.

Technical Discussions Based on Individual Project Requirements
One of the key activities at the MBT booth was providing consultation and holding direct discussions on transformer technical requirements.
Transformer selection should not be based solely on rated power. To ensure compatibility with a power system, several factors need to be considered together, including:
- Rated power, voltage ratings, and vector group.
- Loss levels and operational efficiency requirements.
- Tap changer type and voltage regulation range.
- Transformer protection accessories.
- Manufacturing, testing, and acceptance standards.
- Environmental conditions and installation location.
- Project-specific design requirements.
Through direct discussions, the MBT team gained a clearer understanding of each project’s characteristics and could recommend suitable products, technical configurations, and operating conditions.
For customers and partners, this was also an opportunity to examine products firsthand, speak directly with the manufacturer, and clarify technical considerations before selecting equipment.

Connecting Project Requirements with MBT’s Manufacturing Capabilities
Vietnam ETE & Greenergy Expo 2026 not only provided a platform for product presentations but also helped connect project requirements directly with the company’s design and manufacturing capabilities.
Through meetings at Booth A125, MBT gained deeper insights into the priorities of customers and partners, including operational efficiency, loss levels, safety, design customization, production schedules, and technical support services.
For each project, transformer selection should be based on specific information about the load, power supply configuration, installation environment, and operating requirements. Therefore, direct communication between the manufacturer and the customer plays an important role in determining a suitable equipment configuration.
The information gathered from the event provides a foundation for MBT to continue improving its products, enhancing the quality of its technical consultation, and developing transformer solutions suited to different types of projects.
The event also helped strengthen relationships between MBT and its customers, partners, and organizations operating in the electrical and energy sectors, thereby expanding opportunities for cooperation in domestic and international projects.
